User Characteristics
- Demographics:
- Age, gender, location, and other characteristics.
- Acquisition:
- How the user acquired the app, such as through an app store or referral from another user.
- Device:
- Device the user is using to access the app, such as the device model, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Network:
- Network the user is connected to, such as the carrier and connection type.
- Special Needs:
- Users with accessibility issues or other special needs.
- Goals:
- What the user is trying to achieve by using the app, such as completing a task or finding information.

User Story
Context:
- Understanding the situation and environment in which the user is using the app, such as location, time of day, and device being used.
Persona:
- Understanding the user's personality, behavior, and preferences to create personalized experiences.
Funnel:
- Understanding the user's journey through the app, from awareness to conversion or completion of a task.
Segments:
- Understanding how the user's behavior and characteristics can be grouped into segments, such as power users or casual users.
Churn:
- Understanding the rate at which users stop using the app and identifying why they are leaving.
User App Usage (general)
Engagement:
- How often and for how long the user engages with the app, such as session length and frequency.
Retention:
- How long the user continues to use the app after the initial installation.
Usage:
- Information about how the user interacts with the app, such as the features used, the screens viewed, and the actions taken.
Revenue:
- Revenue generated by the user, such as in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Feedback:
- How the user interacts with the app and what feedback they provide, such as ratings and reviews.
User Activity level (user type)
- Active Users:
- Users who regularly use the app, have longer session times, and have a high retention rate.
- Inactive Users:
- Users who rarely use the app, have shorter session times, and have a low retention rate.
- Power Users:
- Users who use the app frequently and have a high level of engagement, such as a high number of sessions per day or week.
- Casual Users:
- Users who use the app less frequently and have a lower level of engagement, such as a lower number of sessions per day or week.
- Heavy Users:
- Users who spend a lot of time in the app, such as several hours per day or week.
- Light Users:
- Users who spend less time in the app, such as a few minutes per day or week.
- Loyal Users:
- Users who continue to use the app over a long period of time.
- Churned Users:
- Users who stop using the app after a short period of time.
- Feature-Driven Users:
- Users who use a specific feature of the app frequently.
- Navigation Driven Users:
- Users who navigate through different screens of the app frequently.
- Repeat Users:
- Users who perform similar actions frequently.
